14292Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, amendments to the Construction Projects Regulation have been approved in order to strengthen and clarify existing requirements relating to the use of suspended access equipment.  These amendments include:

  • Notification requirements
  • Requirements regarding roof plans and site-specific work plans
  • Training requirements
  • Requirements regarding inspection, testing, and maintenance
  • Design, operational, technical, and engineering requirements
